Maruti Suzuki Baleno is an extremely popular hatchback in the Indian market. Recently, Maruti Suzuki launched the facelifted Baleno with new face, new wheels, updated interiors and more standard safety features. However, Baleno is also costlier than its predecessor at Rs 5.45 lakh onwards for the petrol Sigma model which is Rs 7,000 more than the older model. The diesel version starts from Rs 6.60 lakh, i.e., Rs 9,000 more than the older version.
The secret behind the New Baleno’s extraordinary drive lies under its hood. It comes with a 1.2L VVT engine, which not only provides great power and torque but also better combustion, reduced engine friction, and lower emissions. It is available in 5-speed manual transmission and CVT options.
The New Baleno is also available in DDiS 190 engine, which delivers a great performance. The acclaimed engine performs silently with reduced emissions, which makes it really efficient for Indian roads.
Keeping up with the competition, the Baleno gets a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which provides information on fuel consumption, trip details, driving range, gear shift, and more whenever you want and rich blue-black interior theme with dark metallic accents along the dashboard. Looking from the outside, the first thing that strikes you is the new Front Bumper which gives it a bold persona. The car also comes with 16-inch alloy wheels. There are LED projector headlights with daytime running lamps (DRL). The DRLs are a standard feature now and are available from the Delta variant onwards.
